💼 Responsibilities

As a service technician, you will work with various service cases for forklifts and construction machinery in the workshop. The tasks vary in nature but include troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance. You will work independently with the machine's components, such as hydraulics, electronics, and mechanics.

The work is planned and structured together with a service coordinator with whom you will have ongoing contact. Digital tools are used for internal communication, documentation, and reporting. The work includes both planned and more urgent jobs, and you will have continuous contact with customers, the service coordinator, and other service technicians. You are the face of Kalmar Solutions and therefore strive to provide customers with good service, meet their needs, and keep them continuously updated. In this position, you will primarily work in Kalmar's workshop in Gothenburg Port.

• Handle service cases for forklifts and construction machinery in the workshop

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance in the areas of hydraulics, electronics, and mechanics

• Plan and structure work together with the service coordinator

• Handle both planned and urgent tasks

• Maintain ongoing contact with customers, the service coordinator, and other service technicians

• Be the company's face to the outside by providing good service, meeting customer needs, and ensuring continuous feedback

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• High school education in relevant fields, such as mechanics or vehicles

• Basic knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electronics

• Experience in repairing forklifts, trucks, construction machinery, or similar is an advantage

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Driving license B
